What makes you happy?

by Richard

Take a moment, and reflect on this question.

Is it your hobbies, your family and friends, or perhaps your work?  What is something that you love doing and know that nothing will stop you from continuing that passion of yours?

Be honest with yourself and recall all the moments in your life where you have learned something new or met someone who geared your life back on path.  Or it might just be the little things such as listening to music or eating your favorite foods.  If these moments did not occur in your life, how different do you think you would be compared to the person you are today?

Regardless of if you are aware of it or not, experiences are what makes a person grow and eventually succeed.  These experiences you have just thought of have shaped your life countless ways. Stay persistent and those experiences will create success for you in the long run.

Everyone is different and unique in their own way, so there should not be any reason why you should imitate another person because that is the”right way” to live your life.  Embrace yourself, discover what you love doing, even if nobody else does it and be fearless.

After all, that something that makes you happy should always put a smile on your face.  On top of that, smiling has many proven benefits.  So keep doing the things you love and smile as often as you can.

Final thoughts

Fathoming this question will help you identify what is most important to you and how to fully appreciate it.  Often times, we overlook these details due to our hectic lives and constant drive for achievement. When you spend time out of your day to think about this daily, you will eventually develop a habit of self-reflection.

So let us think again, what makes you happy?
