How do you want to feel in your life?
Take a moment and a deep breath to find the answers within: joy, fun, peace, love, excitement, safety, freedom, flow, expansion, abundance, confidence, and more, much more, as much as you want.
Now take another deep breath and take this in:
You are meant to feel exactly what you want to feel.
Yes, you are meant to have a life that fits to YOUR personal standards of happiness. You are meant to choose how you want it, when you want it, and with whom. You are meant to be free to explore your space in the universe.
If this sounds too cheesy or unrealistic, it is because you did not grasp the point. I am not saying that you are meant to have it your way all the time. Neither am I saying that life is meant to be a walk in the park. As long as you are alive, it is a given that you are going to deal with failure, get your heart broken, and be rejected. Nothing special there, since we are all on the same boat and we are all going to get hurt in our way to the shore.
Even through these hard circumstances, you are still free to feel exactly how you want to feel. The truth is simple and you heard it before: You cannot always choose your circumstances, but you can always choose how do you want to perceive them.
And perception, my friend, is magic.
We can always use the power of our imagination to recalibrate our universe
to seek for a different point of view, to find the opportunity in the difficulty. This is the secret of happiness and authentic success. In every situation of your life, there is only one common thing: YOU and within you lie infinite possibilities.
So take a moment and start over:
- How do you want to feel in this moment?
- How do you need to think to feel that way?
- What do you need to do to align with that feeling.
