There are multiple ways to interpret the same thing.. but what fucks must of us up is that we interpret it as the worst thing it could be.


Personally I believe that pessimism can be beneficial.
Though sometimes it can depend on the extent of the pessimism
How so? How has it benefited you or served you in anyway? Curious
I can't speak for the other person but it can sometimes prepare you for the worst or see things in a different light
Pessimism guards us against marshmallow optimism which will often disappoint
Not if you expect either outcome but side with optimism. No disappointment, and no negative expectations as your primary expectation.
Not fun to go through life expecting the worst. That's living in misery, paranoia, and fear. Silently suffering out of what you imagine. Why not imagine the best outcome but don't attach to it?
