I also feel like my friends don't invite me places because they go off and smoke which I appreciate that they respect my choice not to do that but at the same time I feel left out constantly.

By deciding to not smoke I realized I alienated myself from that friend group, so I began to hang out more with another friend group that didn't smoke. It was nothing personal, just a difference of interest that separated me from that group

I'm not going to be that cringy guy to tell you to "stick to what you believe" or "don't give into peer pressure." You seem smart and should be able to make your own decision about the costs and benefits of smoking
